Plot Synopsis

During the early years of the Republic of China, the country was in turmoil. Warlords carved up the country, causing the people to suffer greatly. Cao Yun was the daughter of General Cao, a powerful warlord, and also a patriot. Unwilling to see her father help Yuan Shikai borrow a huge sum of money from foreign banks in the name of the country, which would make the country's finances even worse, she secretly got in touch with revolutionary figures. Bai Niu grew up in the Chunhe Opera Troupe since childhood. She was treated as a servant girl by the troupe master who was her father. Crazy about singing opera, she had always hoped to perform on stage but never got the chance. Xiang Hong was a money-loving singing prostitute. When a certain warlord was on the run, she stole a large box of jewels from his house. By accident, the jewels were transported into the Chunhe Opera Troupe. These three women got to know each other by chance. Through the intertwined lives of these three protagonists, they jointly composed
