Plot Synopsis

After the flood, Zhaodi officially inherited Fourth Uncle's farm. With the help of Alon, who had mended his ways, she began to operate the farm on a small scale. At this time, due to the take-off of the economy in Singapore, the mindset of the people had changed. Osman's son, Ahmad, was crazy about Western rock music. However, the conservative Osman regarded the band formed by his son as the devil, and thus a fierce conflict arose between the father and the son. Ahmad left home angrily and became decadent ever since. Osman lamented the generation gap caused by the great changes of the times. On the other side, the government requisitioned land on a large scale. Knowing that the land with an agricultural license might obtain huge compensation, Akun began to covet the compensation that Zhaodi might get. He then held a family meeting and imposed unfounded accusations on Zhaodi and Alon, hoping to drive them away and obtain the huge compensation for himself.
