Our Story

Plot Synopsis

This film takes local families in the 1960s as its main axis. Through the experiences of its members, it presents the early kampong life and the subsequent HDB flat life, with the plot spanning several decades. The film will reflect how Singapore has evolved from a society where dialects were the mainstream languages to one where Mandarin was dominant and then to the current prevalence of English, while looking back on the lost dialects in the process.
