Plot Synopsis

Qin Ye, who had been asleep for a thousand years, was once a demon-slaying master under Emperor Qin Shi Huang. After waking up, he found that demons had revived in the modern world and was forced to join the 749 Bureau. He was addicted to short videos and cola and just wanted to lie low, while his partner, female team leader Zhao Muchen, was quick and decisive. The two went from bickering to默契, repaired the seal of the Ghost Gate, and fought against the forces of Chi Youzi revived by the Return to Void Sect.
