Plot Synopsis

When he was young, Ye Dong, a wealthy businessman, killed his wife due to drinking and gambling. Filled with guilt, he was reborn and transmigrated back to 1998. Right after transmigrating back, he was hounded by his creditor Jin Kai and neighbors who came to demand repayment of debts and threatened him to get a divorce. In a fit of rage, Ye Dong drove away the creditor and neighbors, claiming that he could earn 1,200 yuan within two hours. Recalling his past life, Ye Dong remembered that a priceless treasure worth a million yuan had been unearthed in the neighboring Zhangjia Village. So he used his mother-in-law's silver bracelet to exchange for money and went to Zhaojia Village to buy a "troublemaker" (or something like a tool used to stir things up, depending on the specific context here), which led to being ridiculed by his mother-in-law and the villagers. Ye Dong sold the million-yuan antique and thus got acquainted with Xie Jingwen, the eldest daughter of a wealthy family.
