Plot Synopsis

The two rising stars of the Righteous Path from the Tianyuan Sect, Xiao Liao Xi and Gu Yi, led the heroes of the Righteous Path to launch a powerful crusade against the Chonglou Gate of the Demonic Sect. They successfully killed the chief evildoer, the Blood-Clothed One, and adopted a strategy of not pursuing the remaining crimes of the others, which enabled the martial arts world to reach a temporary peace agreement. After the war, Zhang Qing, the leader of the Tianyuan Sect, let Xiao Liao Xi and Gu Yi jointly take charge of the Tianyuan Sect and also appointed Xiao Liao Xi to temporarily act as the Sect Master. However, Gu Yi mistakenly thought that Zhang Qing was belittling him, which led to misunderstandings in his heart. Consequently, he became jealous of Xiao Liao Xi and even secretly poisoned Xiao Liao Xi.
