Plot Synopsis

Quan Lai has four beautiful daughters, Quan Fang, Quan Wei, Quan Shui and Quan Ai. Quan Lai has painstakingly brought them up single-handedly. His only wish is that the four children can find their own happiness on their respective life paths. However, it seems that it is not an easy thing to fulfill this simple wish. Quan Fang's marriage with her husband has come to the verge of breaking up due to trifles in life. Quan Wei has fallen in love with Du Siyuan, a single father with a daughter, only to find that being a "stepmother" is really not easy. Meanwhile, the emotional paths of Quan Shui and Quan Ai are not smooth either. What Quan Lai is most worried about is his own late-in-life love with Huang Mudan. This hard-won relationship is doomed to encounter obstruction and hardships.
