Plot Synopsis

Si Yao, a descendant of the Si family, imparted all her knowledge to her husband Ye Jinian. However, after Ye Jinian won the title of Tanhua (the third place in the imperial examinations), he brought back Fang Li, the daughter of the Duke of Zhenguo. Unwilling to share a husband with another woman, Si Yao publicly divorced her husband and left the Ye family.
