Moments of Ordinary Brilliance

Plot Synopsis

Real estate tycoon Chen Xiao returns to his hometown to pay homage to his ancestors and happens to encounter Song Xue, who was forced to drop out of school and be sold into marriage by her parents who prefer sons over daughters. Chen's mother orders Chen Xiao to fund Song Xue to complete her junior college education. Three years later, Song Xue graduates. She firmly believes that Chen Xiao's encouragement of "study hard" back then was an implication of "cultivating love", and regards herself as the future mistress of the Chen family, which leads to a series of misunderstandings. Eventually, she is persuaded by the old lady and realizes her mistake.
