Plot Synopsis

In order to avoid the schemes of her daughter-in-law, Li Jinzhi paid someone to go through a fake marriage with her. Coincidentally, she met Dr. Li who was passing by, and the two got a marriage certificate. However, they offended the registrar who then beat Li Jinzhi up, causing Dr. Li to misunderstand that she didn't want to be with him and missing the chance for the two to be together. One year later, to avoid the harassment of Hei Laoer, following the advice of the proprietress where she worked, Li Jinzhi applied for a job in Dr. Li's company. When Li Jinzhi was being suppressed by her daughter-in-law's family at her grandson's banquet, Dr. Li came forward to rescue her.
