Plot Synopsis

Lu Xiaoman was admitted to university when she was in the second year of senior high school. However, in order to raise tuition fees for her, Lu Dashan, her father who had cancer, knelt down in the rainy night to beg his younger brother to return the salary. The father snatched the tuition fees that belonged to Lu Xiaoman from the partial grandfather. Urged by her father, Lu Xiaoman ran out of the village. More than ten years later, Lu Xiaoman returned as the chief engineer and held a non-heritage cultural competition for her father. Unexpectedly, she was rumored by the villagers to be a reform-through-labor prisoner.
