Plot Synopsis

On New Year's Eve, Hong Qing, who had been married far away for many years, planned to take her daughter An An back to her parents' home for the Spring Festival. But just as she arrived downstairs, she was stopped by her mother-in-law. Helplessly, Hong Qing had to stay. At the New Year's Eve dinner in the evening, the mother-in-law favored her younger brother-in-law's son Xiaojun and gave An An the cold shoulder. Hong Qing exploded with anger but was then insulted by her husband's family. Hong Qing left home with An An in a fit of rage. On the way, she was bumped into by her own family members who had rushed over. After learning about what Hong Qing had gone through, her family members were ready to help her get revenge.
