Plot Synopsis

Gao Yiran and Zhu Hongtu were once passionately in love and walked into marriage hand in hand with the longing for the future. However, the custom of betrothal gifts became a stumbling block for them. Fortunately, Old Lady Wang, Zhu Hongtu's mother, with her wisdom and experience, skillfully resolved this crisis and allowed their marriage to continue. Nevertheless, married life is not all sweetness. The trivial daily life gradually led to many misunderstandings. As time passed, the contradictions between the two deepened continuously, and finally they had no choice but to choose divorce. This marriage, from anticipation to twists and turns, is really lamentable. I wonder if in the future they will be able to let go of the past and rediscover each other as they once were.
