Luring the Man into the Play

Plot Synopsis

Wen Yi's mother, Miao Cui, is a lunatic, but there are always people in the village who come to invite her to perform. Wen Yi secretly observes and discovers that Miao Cui is not crazy at all. Instead, she is a charming and still-beautiful woman. During the day, she is dirty and smelly, but at night, her appearance and figure are like those of the characters in the opera scripts coming to life. Moreover, Miao Cui has a strange rule when performing. It must be at midnight, and the stage is set up in an abandoned theater building. Strangely enough, every person who comes to listen to the opera not only doesn't dislike it but, as if possessed, enters the theater building one by one and never comes out again.
