Plot Synopsis

Tian Buwen, an older single woman, and Liu Mingwei, an older single man, met by chance during a blind date after failing in many previous ones. The two hit it off immediately and decided to pretend to be in a relationship to cope with the pressure from their parents' urging them to get married. They started "acting", but inadvertently discovered each other's sense of humor and tacit understanding. As the fake relationship deepened, the two gradually developed true feelings for each other, but also faced various tests from their parents, friends and society. Finally, they bravely faced their inner selves and decided to stop acting and truly be together, proving with their actions that love knows no age and happiness never comes too late.
