Plot Synopsis

Ah Wei and Tingzi have been childhood sweethearts since they were young. Time flies, and the two have reached the age of getting married. However, a cruel reality lies before Ah Wei. Tingzi's family has put forward requirements for an expensive betrothal gift and gold jewelry. Looking at his own poor family situation, Ah Wei is full of helplessness and anxiety. He clearly knows that with the existing conditions of his family, it is simply impossible to meet this requirement. But his feelings for Tingzi are unwavering, and he is unwilling to give up this relationship just like that. After thinking it over and over again, Ah Wei resolutely decides to go to work in the city. With longing for the future, he packs his bags and steps into the strange city, just to be able to save enough for the betrothal gift and marry his beloved Tingzi in a glorious manner.
