Plot Synopsis

Lin Mian, a female college student, was born into a family that favored sons over daughters and was deeply persecuted by her mother. In order to raise money for her father's surgery, she reluctantly chose to believe a unscrupulous advertisement. By accident, she dialed the phone number of Shi Lin, a wealthy doctor. Shi Lin made an appointment to meet Lin Mian in order to dissuade her and protect her, but fell in love with her at first sight. Thus, the two began another kind of lingering "transaction". Lin Mian thought that their deal was over and repeatedly resisted Shi Lin's feelings. However, Shi Lin still did everything he could for Lin Mian, helped her, took care of her, and finally pulled Lin Mian out of the abyss of her original family and supported her to fulfill her dreams.
