Plot Synopsis

Princess Jiu of the Southern Kingdom, named "Hongdou", was intelligent and mature since childhood. She studied military strategies and tactics assiduously, was good at hiding her talents and avoiding showing off. Later, she ascended to the throne with thunderous means and proclaimed herself the empress. On the night of her coronation, she transmigrated to the modern era and met the big star Ye Xing. The two became quarrelsome lovers and tried various ways to help Hongdou return to the Southern Kingdom. After Hongdou returned to the Southern Kingdom, she vigorously reorganized the country. Unexpectedly, Ye Xing also transmigrated there and became her "male favorite". Thus, the quarrelsome lovers began to stage a "battle of wits and courage" in the court version.
