Plot Synopsis

An Mingxi was originally the daughter of a wealthy family. Later, due to the bankruptcy of the An family, An Mingxi's father married the mother of the upstart Yao Qianqian. Her fiancé, Gu Huai, had once saved her, so she was grateful and deeply in love with him. Gu Huai had already hooked up with Yao Qianqian and had been plotting against her behind her back, just to obtain the inheritance left by her mother. Gu Moqian had been secretly in love with An Mingxi all along, but due to her relationship with his nephew, he suppressed his feelings.
