Plot Synopsis

During the chaotic era of the Republic of China, Jiang Mengling was forced to sell herself into the Song family due to her father's debts. Song Qingming, the young master of the Song family, was once her savior, but treated her coldly because of misunderstandings. In order to find her mother, Mengling had to submit to Old Master Song and was faced with the fate of becoming a concubine. Song Qingming was internally struggling. He wanted to protect Mengling on the one hand, but was angry and disappointed because of her relationship with his father on the other. Mengling was bullied a lot in the Song family, but she faced it bravely. She temporarily avoided Old Master Song's harassment on the pretext of learning new tunes while trying hard to prove her innocence. However, misunderstandings and conspiracies came one after another, and Mengling fell into an even deeper quagmire.
