Plot Synopsis

Twenty years ago, Su Jing rescued her son Zhao Wenbin and the neighbor's daughter Ye Xue from a fire, but was left with scars, which led to a strained relationship with her son. Twenty years later, Su Jing was diagnosed with leukemia and hoped to reunite with her son on the Mid-Autumn Festival. Because of the scars, her daughter-in-law Liu Yueru and grandson didn't recognize her. Her grandson had an eye injury and needed a cornea. Su Jing couldn't donate due to her illness and was misunderstood as being selfish. Finally, the rescued girl Ye Xue, who had become a wealthy merchant, returned to fulfill her filial duties, and Zhao Wenbin realized the greatness of his mother.
