Plot Synopsis

In order to earn betrothal gifts, Lin Man's son and daughter-in-law threatened the female protagonist, who had lost her husband early, with her grandson, forcing her to marry Gu Sisheng, who had become a vegetative state due to a car accident. After the female protagonist married into the family in trepidation, she was warmly welcomed and treated kindly by Gu Sisheng's daughter. Lin Man was initially very resistant to this marriage, but in the face of the vegetative Gu Sisheng, she worked hard without complaint.
