Plot Synopsis

The female protagonist, Xia Canlan, is a top expert in cardiac surgery, code-named Doctor X. In order to fulfill her father's last wish, she married Zhuang Nanzhou, the president of the Zhuang Group. For three years of marriage, her husband never showed up. On the day of the divorce, Zhuang Nanzhou didn't attend but just asked a lawyer to handle the formalities. It turned out that Xu Mengjia, the cousin whom Zhuang Nanzhou cared about most, had a rare heart disease and needed the top surgeon Doctor X to perform the operation for it to be successful. In the hospital, Zhuang Nanzhou met his ex-wife Xia Canlan. It turned out that Doctor X, whom Zhuang Nanzhou had been searching for painstakingly for many years, was actually his own ex-wife. Thus, a tortuous emotional story began.
