Plot Synopsis

Liu Sanjie was a folk singer. She was helpful, intelligent and beautiful. She cleverly resolved the "Gourd Case", rescued the maidservant Vanilla, and outwitted the corrupt county magistrate with her wisdom in cases like "The Parrot Stealing the Hairpin" and "Skillfully Solving the Cat Case". She spread songs in Liuzhou, went to Yongcheng to participate in the Southern Song Festival, and also "Wisely Rescued the Runaway Bride in the Dwarf Village" and "Sang the Etiquette Song Together on the Wind and Rain Bridge". When summoned by the special envoy of the Tang Dynasty, she sang the "True Song of Warning the World" loudly, pleading for the people and speaking on their behalf. Tusi (chieftain) Gui Wanshan, scholar Zhang Weiwang, A Long and others helped Sanjie overcome numerous difficulties. However, Mu Renhuan, who harbored hatred for Sanjie and was bent on revenge, used all kinds of intrigues and schemes to persecute her. In the end, he was defeated one by one and met with a disgraceful end.
