Plot Synopsis

Fifteen years ago, an earthquake hit Longcheng. Ye Xing, the six-year-old daughter of the Ye family, was abandoned by her grandmother, Zhao Yufen. She was rescued and adopted by Song Zhiqiang, a mute scavenger, and named Song Yan. During the fifteen years, Song Zhiqiang raised Song Yan alone. Fifteen years later, Song Zhiqiang offended Zhao Yufen when he worked as a cleaner at the Ye family's annual meeting. Song Yan tried to relieve the situation for her adoptive father but was bullied by her biological siblings, Ye Lang and Xia Yun. Neither side knew each other's identities.
