Plot Synopsis

Jiang Ziya was nearly sixty years old and still had a strong desire to cultivate immortality. He was treated as a burden and kicked out of his wife's family. By chance, he was accepted as a disciple by Yuanshi Tianzun. He maintained his Taoist heart during ten years of sweeping the floor, and the former "useless waste" finally became the master of conferring gods! After going down the mountain, he cut off worldly ties and met King Wen of Zhou while fishing with a straight hook on the banks of the Wei River. He came out of the mountain to assist in government affairs and help the Zhou Dynasty defeat the Shang Dynasty, saying, "Watch me shoulder the great cause of conferring gods with a mortal body!"
