Plot Synopsis

After cartoonist Gu Wenhao returned to his hometown, an ancient town, he unexpectedly encountered Lu Ling, the female villain in his comics. Lu Ling mistook him for Xu Zhou, the male lead in her comics, and was determined to "marry" him even after losing her memory. During his time with Lu Ling, Gu Wenhao discovered that Lu Ling's character was completely different from that in the comics. She was bold, open-minded and chivalrous, and also knew many plot details that he himself didn't even know. As the two spent time together, Gu Wenhao gradually fell in love with Lu Ling. However, Lu Ling then found out that she was not a character from the comics but a real person from ancient times. When Gu Wenhao was about to confess his love to Lu Ling, Lu Ling died while saving him. And when Gu Wenhao woke up, he found that he had actually traveled back to ancient times and become the person Lu Ling had mentioned. But in this ancient world, Lu Ling didn't recognize him...
