Plot Synopsis

The play tells the story of Xu Yi and Jiang Yingyue's marriage from breakdown to end, as well as Xu Yi's renewal of life. On their third wedding anniversary, Xu Yi discovers the ambiguity between his wife Jiang Yingyue and her assistant Shen Xingzhou. After enduring for years, he finally decides to divorce. After leaving his job, Xu Yi joins Xin Yi Group and receives the help and admiration of the company's heiress Chen Xinru. During this period, Jiang Yingyue repeatedly pesters him, and Shen Xingzhou tries to create trouble. With the support of Chen Xinru, Xu Yi resolves crises time and time again. Eventually, he completely divorces Jiang Yingyue, breaks free from the shadow of his failed marriage, and gets together with Chen Xinru, opening a new chapter in his life.
