Plot Synopsis

Lin Xiufen was tricked by her son Li Mingyang into participating in a blind date show. Li, aiming to win a bonus of 500,000 yuan, planned to make his mother hold hands with their neighbor Wang Jianmin. During the show, Li manipulated the process, leaving only Wang Jianmin's light on. Coincidentally, the show was organized by Xia Feifei for her father Xia Zhenhua, who happened to be Lin Xiufen's first love. Xia participated in the show disguised as a maintenance worker, and the two reunited. For the sake of the bonus, Li Mingyang insisted that his mother choose Wang Jianmin, despite Xia Zhenhua's best efforts to stop it. Faced with the contradiction between her first love and her son, Lin Xiufen was caught in a dilemma.
