Plot Synopsis

Xie Xuan, the Minister of Rites, favored his concubine and neglected his wife. After his legal wife Lin Wan died, she left behind a daughter named Xie Qingyan. On the day when Xie Qingyan was engaged to Huo Wuming of the Huo family, it happened to be the funeral of General Huo Xiao of the Huo family.
