Plot Synopsis

The imperial examination was approaching. The young emperor Li Anshi went to Wenchang Temple to pray for blessings. On the way back, he encountered heavy rain and flash floods, fell off a cliff and lost his memory. He mistakenly regarded himself as a poor scholar and participated in the imperial examination. However, when he arrived at the examination hall, he found that the imperial examination, which was crucial to the country's foundation, was not as fair as he had imagined. All kinds of embezzlement, bribery, bullying and oppression shocked Li Anshi's perception and tolerance limit. In extreme anger and unwillingness, Li Anshi regained his memory and vowed to clean up the chaos in the imperial examination.
