Plot Synopsis

For many years, Shen Jianxin, the princess of the Prince of Jin's Mansion, was neglected by her husband Xiao Jinglan and bullied in the cold palace. On her birthday, when Xiao Jinglan returned, he brought back a woman and wanted to keep her in his bedchamber, which disappointed Shen Jianxin. After a big fire, Xiao Jinglan thought that Shen Jianxin was dead, but she survived with her face completely disfigured and went into hiding. While taking shelter, she drank the tea that had been drugged in a farmer's house and found out that the peasant woman wanted to send her back to the prince's mansion because of the reward. After that, Shen Jianxin decided not to be manipulated by others anymore. She relied on her own strength to seek revenge, walking between kindness and trickery, and embarked on the path of revenge.
