Plot Synopsis

As the crown prince, Su Chengqian was unwilling to shoulder this heavy responsibility. He deliberately created various "scandals" with ulterior motives, attempting to enrage the emperor into deposing him. From deliberately being late to receive envoys from foreign states, to causing a ruckus in a brothel and taking away a woman, and even going so far as to kill the envoys from Japan, Su Chengqian's actions became increasingly outrageous. However, each of his attempts to "ruin his reputation" was cleverly interpreted as achievements in understanding the people's conditions and safeguarding national prestige. Faced with the praises of the court officials and the glib tongue of the prime minister, Su Chengqian was caught in a dilemma. Could he get rid of the position of the crown prince as he wished and become a carefree prince?
