Plot Synopsis

Thirteen years ago, in order to save a strange girl who was being molested by hooligans, Zhao Dingkang accidentally killed the hooligan and was sentenced to life imprisonment. However, after being imprisoned, Zhao Dingkang didn't give up on himself. Instead, he studied cooking skills earnestly and became a member of the prison kitchen staff. Eventually, Zhao Dingkang not only obtained a special first-class chef certificate in prison but was also released from prison ahead of schedule. After being released from prison, Zhao Dingkang found that Chinese cuisine had been completely squeezed out of its living space by Western cuisine. So he took the initiative to join the nearly bankrupt Chinese restaurant Baiweizhai. He defeated the Western cuisine chef hired by the boss of the grand banquet, Zhou Ziruo, and helped Baiweizhai obtain the opportunity to cooperate with the Shen's Group.
