Plot Synopsis

"I'm Empress Po in the Imperial Harem" tells the story that Nie Daqian, a modern working woman, accidentally travels back to the Qing Dynasty and becomes Empress Po'er. She regards the imperial harem as a new company, uses modern workplace thinking to deal with the palace intrigues, and implements the reform of the heir-producing project to get a salary raise. She reunites with her former boss, Lauden, who has traveled back to ancient times and become the Tenth Beile, but refuses to get involved in an emotional entanglement. Empress Gua sows discord, and Lauden steps forward to save her but is exiled. Although she has accumulated wealth, Nie Daqian misses her freedom. She donates all her family property to the flood-stricken areas in the south of the Yangtze River and accidentally returns to modern times while saving people.
