Plot Synopsis
To protect the embroidery workshop left by her mother in this world, Yu Shu was forced to agree to marry the rumored stupid Third Prince Shen Yanqing on behalf of Yu Yan, the concubine daughter. Three years ago, Yu Shu, who was just beginning to have feelings, fell in love with the new teacher Xu Changqing in the mansion. Despite the worldly views, she boldly expressed her love. However, after three years of infatuation, what she got in return was Xu Changqing's cold aloofness and even allowing the whole capital to laugh at her as "shameless". Until accidentally, she discovered that Xu Changqing was actually the Second Prince of the current dynasty, and he had lived in the mansion incognito as a teacher because he was in love with her half-sister Yu Yan.
Audience Reviews
Haha, So funny!
Episode 8
I had already despaired of short dramas, but this one is unexpectedly okay. It can be seen that the writer is a serious writer. Although it still has the fixed character configuration of short dramas such as a scumbag father, a vicious stepmother, a green tea stepsister, and a blind second male lead, the writer actually seriously gave each supporting role relatively reasonable psychological motives, standing out among a series of increasingly absurd short dramas. Of course, this brings up an interesting question. Are the audiences of short dramas and long dramas completely different? Because this design of giving supporting roles relative "complexity" is not entirely consistent with the emotional needs of short dramas that blindly pursue "a sense of pleasure" and "venting", so the character of the female lead also seems more gentle (but I actually think it is relatively more realistic in this way, unlike the increasingly absurd and nonsense female lead settings in general short dramas). Should short dramas get closer to long dramas in terms of writing? Or should short dramas just pursue this extreme and emotional writing mode?
The ancient version of "Remembering the Beautiful Face and the Peach Blossoms". The female lead is a rational lovebrain, and the character design of the second female lead is quite outstanding in the second half. 这是一段比较具体且含义有一定背景指向性的内容,在没有明确具体出处的情况下,这样的翻译可能是基于一种对特定情境的理解来进行准确传达:The ancient version of "Remembering the Beautiful Face and the Peach Blossoms". After watching the modern version, this ancient costume adaptation is quite good. The supporting characters have relatively plump images and are not stereotyped. The second male lead actually has a strong sense of boundaries and clearly rejects the female lead. It's just that he hurt the female lead for the second female lead. After the female lead gets rid of her love-struck mentality, she becomes more decisive. The male lead has a much higher presence than in the modern version. The second female lead is also very sensible.
The persona of the female lead is a bit disgusting.
The story is actually quite common. The father dotes on his concubine and abandons his wife, and the legitimate daughter has been trampled on since childhood. The person she has a crush on mistakes the benefactor and ignores her. She was a spare tire for someone for three years and finally resolutely turned around and headed towards a new future. Then there is the scumbag turning back, the scheming woman being humiliated, and the male and female leads having a happy ending. Even seemingly ascending to the throne as emperor and empress in the end. This is the kind of short and crappy routine, the kind of script that one wouldn't even bother to open just by looking at the plot summary. Then I don't know under what circumstances I watched it. Maybe it's purely because of Zhang Chuxuan. Among the actresses with strong features, I really like her acting skills. Her big eyes can talk, whether she is with tears in her eyes, rolling her eyes, she is vivid and full of vitality. The scene where she confesses her love to the second male lead, not only the male lead, but who wouldn't be moved after hearing it? The second male lead was verbally insulted by the second female lead. His three-year-long admiration couldn't get him to show the slightest kindness. He publicly humiliated her by making her marry a dog. He also has a temper and is quite ruthless. Finally, the scumbag father is whitewashed and dies while blocking a knife. Actually, there isn't much sense of satisfaction. The whole drama has a warm color grading and is quite old-fashioned. The costumes, makeup, and props are nice, and the plot is delicate and has a sense of quality. There are no kissing scenes and it's quite pure, but the emotional line of the bosom friends falling in love is very sweet. The male lead's early persona of pretending to be crazy and stupid is not shown.
It's okay. The male and female leads are quite interesting, and the plot has a good moral. However, the male lead and the second male lead are too ugly, which makes it uncomfortable to watch.
The characters are very three-dimensional, top-notch short dramas

The second male character is three-dimensional
At first, I was moved to tears, in the middle I laughed, and at the end I felt exhilarated. The character designs are all very three-dimensional.
The plot is great, the memories are not at all abrupt and are very compact. The acting skills are also excellent. It's an extremely wonderful drama.
The plot is very cheesy, but the acting skills of the female lead and the scumbag father are good. The plot doesn't deliberately vilify the supporting villains.
The female lead is a bit cute and can take it up and let it go. Good!
Another story of a father favoring his concubine and neglecting his wife...
The female protagonist who is brave enough to pursue love meets the male protagonist who loves her. Sweet.
这是一部人物形象相对立体的戏剧,但我不理解其摄影和后期色彩分级。为什么添加这么多柔焦效果?
