Plot Synopsis

Wang Shu, the top assassin of the Drizzle Pavilion, slaughtered the entire family of Gu, the chief minister, in order to seek retirement. He absconded with the precious treasure desired by the owner of the Drizzle Pavilion, changed his appearance, renamed himself Chen Suxue, and lived in seclusion in a small town. Gu Xingjian, the eldest son of the Gu family, narrowly escaped death. He also changed his name to Xiao Xu and married Chen Suxue, looking for an opportunity to take revenge. However, unexpectedly, during their daily life together, Gu Xingjian developed true feelings for Chen Suxue.
