Plot Synopsis

Xu Yifan's father, Xu Jian'an, undertook the village banquet business, holding banquets for the villagers at a low price. However, Liu Linlin questioned that the charges were too high and that he was making black-hearted money, claiming that it was not as cost-effective as the restaurants in the city. Little did she know that Xu Yifan was the owner of the restaurant. Out of consideration for being from the same village, Xu Yifan had given them a discount on the charges. The villagers, being greedy and driven by self-interest, were furious and even demanded refunds one after another. Xu Yifan and his father were deeply hurt. To prove that what she said was true, Liu Linlin took everyone to the restaurant in the city to have a banquet. But she was slapped in the face by the price. Only then did Liu Linlin realize the truth of the matter and learn that the owner of the restaurant was actually Xu Yifan.
