Plot Synopsis

Twenty-eight years ago, Li Tianyang lost both of his legs during the flood-fighting and disaster-relief operations. After retiring from the military, he founded a Hope Primary School in the Qingluo Mountain area to help the children in the mountainous area complete their studies. It wasn't until he was sixty years old that he and Wang Xiulan fell in love with each other and got married with a marriage certificate. However, their children strongly opposed it. In order to obtain the project orders from the Chunqiu Group, the children forced Wang Xiulan to divorce Li Tianyang and marry Tan Chao, the president of the Chunqiu Group.
