Plot Synopsis

The Japanese army blatantly bombarded Wanping City. Gao Haiwei's father sacrificed himself to save Wu Hongyun. Filled with guilt, Wu Hongyun was even more determined to kill the Japanese invaders. Recommended by Liu Yongxiang, a key member of the Provisional Working Committee of the Communist Party of Beijing, Wu Hongyun and Song Yuquan set off for Yan'an. Both Wu Hongyun and Song Yuquan successively expressed their feelings to Gao Haiwei. Faced with two suitors with completely different personalities, Gao Haiwei was in a dilemma. In order to win Gao Haiwei's heart, the captain and the squad leader launched a fierce competition, vying with each other in everything.
