Getting Rich in Ancient Times: Starting from a Commoner

Plot Synopsis

Guo Jun travels through time to an ancient dilapidated courtyard. Facing his hardworking wife Xie Wanyan and his emaciated daughter Guo Ling'er, he uses modern knowledge to reclaim wasteland and do small business to support the family. Rising step by step, he becomes the largest grain merchant and richest businessman in the country. Eventually, he is appreciated by the emperor and takes charge of the imperial winery, but he chooses to return to his family and share a stable life with his wife and daughter.
