Plot Synopsis

Ye Xuan, the God of War of his generation, was unrivaled in martial arts and awed all the kingdoms and states. He had four great warlords under his command, with Ling Tian being the leader. Ling Tian was extremely ambitious. His martial arts skills were only slightly inferior to Ye Xuan's, and he was bent on replacing Ye Xuan. When Ye Xuan defeated the God of War from eighteen kingdoms but was himself seriously injured, he was betrayed by Ling Tian and knocked off a cliff. Ye Xuan was then regarded as a heroic martyr, and Ling Tian became the new God of War. Ye Xuan was saved by Jiang Tianshi, a miraculous doctor who used to be his subordinate. However, his internal power was greatly reduced and it would take him three years to fully recover. Jiang Tianshi took Ye Xuan into the Jiang family and married his granddaughter Jiang Jinyue to him.
