Plot Synopsis

During an earthquake, in a split-second decision, younger sister Gu Niannian was left in the ruins. Elder brother Gu Shiyan was rescued but was so worried about his sister that he fell ill and developed autism. Fortunately, after the earthquake, Gu Niannian was rescued by the relief workers and was eventually adopted by Qiao Shiliang, a scavenger, and her name was changed to Qiao Zhiwei. While repaying her adoptive father, Gu Niannian tried hard to search for her biological relatives, but was framed many times by Gu Yufei, the adopted daughter of the Gu family. By a strange combination of circumstances, Gu Niannian thwarted the villains' schemes and the family was finally reunited.
