Plot Synopsis

Jiang Feng left his hometown and worked outside for a full twenty years. He lived frugally, only to bring up his son painstakingly until he grew up. However, what made him feel bitterly disappointed was that his son didn't even inform him when getting married. After going through a series of twists and turns to find out the truth, Jiang Feng suddenly realized that it turned out that his son, out of filial piety, didn't want him to bear any more financial burdens. So he deliberately chose to marry into the bride's family and even planned to leave the dowry to his father so that he could enjoy his remaining years in peace.
