Plot Synopsis

Many years ago, Huang Xiuying's two sons suffered from hereditary renal failure. However, the doctor informed her that only one kidney could be donated, which meant that she could only save one of her eldest son and youngest son. After hearing this news, Xu Shan, the eldest son, decided to leave the chance of survival to his younger brother Xu Hai and left the hospital alone to wait for death. Fifteen years later, in order to help his wife's younger brother pay off gambling debts, Xu Hai forced his elderly mother to sell the house.
