Plot Synopsis

In the twenty-third year of Daqi, the capital city of Qi, which appears peaceful on the surface, is actually surging with hidden undercurrents. Su Xiaoxian, a cook with great culinary talent who was born into a commoner family, strayed into the royal hunting ground by mistake while gathering ingredients on one occasion and accidentally became the savior of the third prince, Zhao Han. Although Zhao Han narrowly escaped death, the mastermind behind the scenes fled. To protect Su Xiaoxian from being implicated, Zhao Han ordered the guard Mo Yan to temporarily take Su Xiaoxian back to the royal mansion and let her stay there as a specially hired cook in the mansion. She would be released after the storm subsided. It was originally a kind intention, but unfortunately, Su Xiaoxian didn't want to be restricted. She only wanted to save enough money to go back to her hometown and open a food store to fulfill her dream. Every day, she was thinking about how to escape from the royal mansion.
