Plot Synopsis

In order to treat her younger sister's illness, Su Qingyun sold herself to a rich man but was rescued by Zhuo Xichen. She then agreed to a contracted marriage with Zhuo Xichen. Su Qingyun was brutally attacked and schemed against by Shangguan Xiling, who was in love with Zhuo Xichen, which eventually led to the death of her younger sister. Su Qingyun, misunderstanding and hating Zhuo Xichen, wounded him with a knife and was sentenced to five years in prison herself.
