Plot Synopsis

During the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Haochen and Wan Yu'er of the Jinyiwei (Imperial Secret Police) were an enviable couple. However, Zhu Haochen had been hiding a secret in his heart. In his early years, both of his parents were forced to commit suicide, leaving him an orphan. By chance, he joined the Jinyiwei. In order to avenge his parents, Zhu Haochen accidentally killed Wan Yu'er and was then disheartened. Unexpectedly, he traveled through time to the modern society and saved Su Xiaoxiao, a third-rate actress. Tao Yu'er had always regarded Su Xiaoxiao as a rival and targeted her everywhere. While helping Su Xiaoxiao out of difficulties, Zhu Haochen was also noticed by the director. Tao Yu'er thus hated the two of them even more and launched a crazy revenge. In the end, it was resolved by Zhu Haochen with his excellent fighting skills.
