Plot Synopsis

Three years ago, Qi Jingcheng, with a promise to his deceased comrade Cheng Heng, took on the responsibility of taking care of Cheng Heng's fiancée He Yunzhi. He Yunzhi had a special physical condition and needed long-term blood transfusions to sustain her life. Su Mian, with an unknown purpose, concealed her identity and married Qi Jingcheng. In the three years after marriage, Qi Jingcheng was full of nothing but a sense of responsibility towards He Yunzhi and merely regarded Su Mian as a tool for providing blood. Not only did Su Mian not receive a shred of tenderness, but she was also wantonly bullied by He Yunzhi and was unjustly labeled as a mistress, suffering all kinds of grievances and torments in this marriage.
