Plot Synopsis

Sun Bu'er, a high school student, was involved in a technological conspiracy due to a nightmare in class. He was selected by Dr. Black's team to fight against the brain-control device Eris developed by his middle school classmate, Bald Qiang (Liu Xi'ruo). Through dream experiments, Sun Bu'er sneaked into multiple illusions, from fierce battles in temples to the mythical world of Journey to the West, gradually uncovering the truth that Liu Xi'ruo had become a devil due to his inferiority complex. His partner Jin Xuan fought side by side with him, but was ambushed by Bald Qiang who was disguised as their teammate Jin Yuan, and the laboratory was in crisis of falling. Finally, Sun Bu'er awakened in the intertwined reality and illusion, dissipated Liu Xi'ruo's obsession with a rose, and put an end to the control of Eris.
